Op Shoal - ASB Driving

Over the next couple of days, specialist officers from the Roads Policing Unit will be carrying out enforcement under Operation Shoal, targetting the “Fatal 5” offences accross Hyndburn. 

The “Fatal 5” offences are speeding, drink and drug driving, mobile phone use, not wearing a seatbelt, and careless driving. 

Since this operation began, Op Shoal has resulted into over 70 arrsets for impaired driving and over 40 vehicles seized for document-related offences, showing the positive outcome of this initiative.
